Former CIO of Halliburton and Air Liquide S.A. Joins Yippy's Board of Directors

ATLANTA, June 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Yippy, Inc. (OTC MKTS: YIPI) (www.yippyinc.com) ("Yippy" or the "Company"), an enterprise unification company known for its Yippy EASE 360 platform, announced today that the Company's Board of Directors (the "Board") elected Arthur "Art" Huffman to serve as a director on the Board, fulfilling a previously vacant Board seat.  Mr. Huffman had served as the Board's chief outside consultant since 2015.

Mr. Huffman is the principal and owner of A. Huffman Associates, LLC, an IT consulting and sourcing firm based in Houston, Texas.  Previously, he served as the Chief Information Officer for Halliburton Company (HAL), the global oilfield services firm ("Halliburton"), where he was responsible for all aspects of its worldwide IT operations.  Prior to joining Halliburton, Mr. Huffman held the same position at Air Liquide S.A., a multinational industrial gasses company based in Paris, France, where he maintained responsibility for the company's international IT operations.  In addition to his technology background, Mr. Huffman has also held various executive management positions within Halliburton and Schlumberger Limited.

Google Search Appliance is Discontinued...Time is Running Out

Since Google announced the sun-setting of the Google Search Appliance thousands of companies are going to need a viable replacement.  As part of this announcement Google is no longer selling GSA's and stopped offering renewals end of 2017 with the GSA end of life May 2019.
