Richard Granville  Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Granville has over 25 years of new technology development, sales, marketing and executive management experience.  From early 2009 to present, Mr. Granville has served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Yippy, Inc. From November 2006 to September 2008, Mr. Granville served as Chief Executive Officer of Jack9 Entertainment, Inc ("Jack9"). Jack9 was one of the most successful IPTV units online and under Mr. Granville's direction, achieved a top 250 web property. From March 2003 to October 2006, Mr. Granville served as President of Southpaw, Inc., a Florida building contractor that served central Florida for residential and light commercial construction. From June 2001 to March 2003, Mr. Granville served as President of Granville Management Services, where he helped small emerging international businesses in the "green" technologies sector.  From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Granville also served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Avana Communications aka: Grace Development, Inc., a public telecommunications company serving customers in the southeast. Mr. Granville was succeeded by Ben Holcomb the former President of Bell South International in Feb. 2000 and sold his majority position to David Einhorn from Greenlight Capital. Prior to Avana, Mr. Granville held multiple executive and senior management positions for Fortune 500 companies.  Mr. Granville is a veteran of the United States Navy and attended Kennesaw State University.

Mike Pointer  Chief Scientist

Mr. Pointer has over 20 years of experience in Enterprise Software and sixteen years of management experience in consulting, technical support, and technical sales.   Mike’s technology skills include twenty years of analytics, NLP, cognitive enterprise search, knowledge management, and integration work from startups to the Fortune 500.  Pointer has a proven track record of delivering high customer satisfaction ratings, complex implementation and enterprise application integrations, and deep troubleshooting across a range of industries and domains.  Before joining Yippy, Pointer served at  IBM since 2012 and was a founding member of IBM Watson in 2014, supporting, selling, and delivering cognitive and AI solutions to leading clients. As Vivisimo’s Senior Director of Customer Support for the six years prior to the IBM acquisition of Vivisimo, Mike delivered world class support and technical implementation to the worldwide customer base.  At Vivisimo, Mike was responsible for founding the first Vivisimo Velocity training program and reported directly to Vivisimo’s co-founder and eventual IBM Distinguished Engineer and VP, Jerome Pesenti, now VP of AI at Facebook.  He attended the University of Pittsburgh - MS Physics and Ohio University Honors College - BS Physics.


Robert E. Aber  Executive Vice President - General Counsel

Mr. Aber spent approximately thirty years with the Nasdaq Stock Market ("NASDAQ") and the National Association of Securities Dealers (the predecessor regulatory organization to FINRA), serving in various roles including Executive Director and Senior Vice President of NASDAQ's Corporate Client Group; Senior Vice President, Regulations and Controls Group; and Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary (NASDAQ). Mr. Aber also served as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Skarven Enterprises, Inc., a software development company and subsidiary/predecessor entity to Kestrel Enterprises Inc. (collectively, "Kestrel"), which was acquired by Boeing in 2008.  Kestrel provides data acquisition, analytics, training and assessment for defense and intelligence for the United States Government and its armed forces.  Post-acquisition by Boeing, Mr. Aber served as Senior Vice President for Corporate Operations for Kestrel, retiring in 2013.  Mr. Aber is a veteran of the United States Army National Guard.


John Routhier  Executive Vice President - Chief Sales/Strategy Officer

Routhier has over 15 years’ experience as a sales and marketing executive with a record of rapidly growing sales through the implementation of strategic marketing campaigns, development of corporate strategy and business alliances.  Prior to joining Yippy, Routhier served as the VP of Sales and Marketing for Crowe Paradis Services Corporation, which was purchased by Verisk Analytics (VRSK Fortune 500).   Recently Routhier has been consulting with Derby Management for companies such as Forerun Systems, Aviant Healthcare and Chase Corporation.  Routhier is also currently a mentor for startup incubators such as Techstars, MassChallenge and Tufts $100k Challenge.  He attended Tufts University (Captain of Football Team) and MIT Sloan School of Management.
